Littio, a fintech company, recently unveiled its latest offering—a U.S. bank account accessible through its app, enabling Colombians to engage with the U.S. banking network swiftly. This service simplifies financial management in dollars and offers new cross-border financial opportunities.

Users can easily send and receive international transfers, handle dollar salaries, remittances, and other payments directly through their Littio account.

In collaboration with Lead Bank and under the oversight of the Superintendence of Companies, the service provides essential banking features such as a checking account number and a unique routing number. These features facilitate the seamless receipt of dollar transfers, which can be kept in dollars or converted to Colombian pesos within seconds, leveraging the financial tools provided by Littio.

Christian Knudsen, co-founder and president of Littio, highlights the significance of this launch: “This development marks a significant step towards global financial integration, allowing our users in Colombia to directly access the U.S. banking system.” Established in 2021, Littio aims to expand access to secure and innovative financial services.

The account features a transaction processing time of 1 to 3 business days and a low fee of $2.99 per transaction, positioning it as a competitive option in the market. Users can start by downloading the Littio app, setting up an account, and making an initial deposit, all in less than ten minutes.
